Seamless, Durable & Built for Everyday Use

Microcement is an increasingly popular choice for interior and commercial floors thanks to its seamless appearance, high durability, and minimal thickness. Its ability to create continuous, joint-free surfaces makes it ideal for modern living spaces, retail environments, offices, and hospitality projects.

The Resistone Floor System is engineered specifically for floor applications, combining architectural aesthetics with a technically advanced multi-layer structure designed to withstand daily wear, traffic, and mechanical stress.

Why Resistone Microcement Is Ideal for Floors

Floor surfaces are exposed to constant use, abrasion, and structural movement. A floor finish must not only look good but also deliver long-term performance under real-life conditions.

Resistone microcement floors offer several key advantages:

  • Seamless, joint-free surfaces
  • High resistance to abrasion and compression
  • Minimal thickness (typically 2–3 mm)
  • Excellent adhesion to existing substrates
  • Modern, architectural finish
  • Easy maintenance and cleaning
  • Suitable for residential and commercial floors

When applied as a complete system, microcement provides a durable and continuous surface without the need for demolition or thick build-ups.

The Resistone Floor System Explained

The Resistone Floor System is not a single product, but a carefully engineered layered system. Each layer performs a specific function, working together to ensure strength, flexibility, and long-term durability.

Total product thickness: 2–3 mm

1. Sub-Base System – Epoxy Primer + Mesh

The foundation of the system. This layer ensures optimal adhesion to the substrate and helps distribute structural movement, reducing the risk of cracking.

2. Base System – EP-Elastic Base

Provides structural build-up and mechanical resistance. Designed to absorb stresses from foot traffic while creating a stable base for the finish layers.

3. Finish System – Ex Ground / Ex Chem

The decorative microcement layer that defines the final texture and appearance. Applied by trowel to achieve a natural, handcrafted finish suitable for modern architectural floors.

4. Varnish – Matt, Satin or Glossy

The protective sealing layer. It enhances abrasion resistance, protects against stains, and ensures durability while maintaining the desired visual effect.

The system is designed to work from elastic layers at the bottom to harder, more resistant layers at the top, ensuring excellent performance under daily use.

Performance for Residential & Commercial Floors

Resistone Floor System is suitable for:

  • Living areas and kitchens
  • Retail and showroom floors
  • Offices and commercial spaces
  • Hospitality environments
  • Renovation projects over existing tiles or concrete

Its low thickness makes it ideal for refurbishment projects where floor height is limited.
